Took the Phantom out for some fun with the boys and their stunt copters, and my good friend dropped in with his Lambo . . . so naturally we had to throw a GoPro on the window and the phantom in the sky.... right?
An Orb Spider eating a bug. Amazing creature.
I was told we needed a commercial for a golf outing we were sponsoring, and it needed to be less than a minute long. I set up the GOPRO for time lapse shots over the course of a few days, and used my Canon to shoot the stills. The outcome was better than I expected for such short notice.
The ATREX Rocket mission was one of the more annoying projects I shot. The mission was delayed time and time again, and I finally gave up and let my camera just shoot away all night. I woke up the next morning and checked the camera, and was pretty disappointed, until I got half way through the photos and realized I nailed it. I got the shots of the rockets releasing their white smoke, used to measure wind speed in the upper atmosphere. It was exciting to watch on my computer when I stitched them all together, but it would have been much more fun had I been able to see them personally. Maybe next time . . .
